Okara Gymkhana is the Public and private Partnership project started in September 2022 and inaugurated by Respected Deputy Commissioner being the President of the Club. It is the Gift for the public of Okara to promote their business by organizing their meetings and entertainment for its members and to facilitate them to pass their leisure effectively. It serves as a rendezvous for the families and thus plays an important role as a plate form for the families in their social interaction and bringing them closer to each other, hence doing away with the social taboos and provide them healthy environment for the people of Okara in particular and Punjab in general.

About The Governing Body of Gymkhana

Okara Gymkhana is working under the Governing Body which consist Government and Private members. The Deputy Commissioner is the Chairman of the Club and rest of the body contains four (04) elected members and a general secretary. The Electoral College comprises all the permanent members of the club. The Governing Body for its ease has further divided the responsibility among the members by making different committees comprising on both the Govt. and private members as the case may be.
